From the opulent architecture to the small features and flourishes, the suite is bound to charm. And with a six-seated dining table and extra bathroom, it’s a marvellous place for you to entertain company.
The most striking space is the octagonal drawing room, with an oculus set into the ceiling twenty feet above. One wall is almost completely composed of wide windows, where you can watch the River Sheen roll down the waterfall, under the 18th-century stone bridge, and into Kenmare Bay. In the winter, savour a good book and a vintage brandy from your private bar, as logs from the nearby coppice crackle and flame in the fireplace.
In the warmer months, take breakfast on the bedroom balcony, overlooking the gardens and the river. With your own parking space, side entrance and personal check-in service, you can enjoy a true escape in tranquillity and luxury.
